Terms of Service
Last updated 1 July 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and CrumbleLake ("CrumbleLake", "we", "us"), the operator of PostLake, based in the United Kingdom. By creating an account or using PostLake, you agree to them. If you're using PostLake for an organisation, you confirm you're authorised to accept these terms on its behalf.
1. The service
PostLake is a unified API and dashboard for publishing, scheduling, and measuring social media content across multiple networks from a single integration, including access via our MCP server for AI agents. We may add, change, or remove features over time. Some networks are live now and others are rolling out; we'll always try to be clear about which is which.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information.
- You're responsible for your account, your API keys, and everything done under them. Keep your credentials secure and let us know promptly of any unauthorised use.
- You're responsible for complying with the terms of each social network you connect.
3. Your content
You keep all ownership of the content you create and publish through PostLake. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and transmit that content solely to operate the service and deliver it to the networks you choose — nothing else. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we don't claim any ownership of it.
You are responsible for your content and for having the rights to publish it. You must not use PostLake to post anything unlawful or anything that breaks a connected network's rules.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use PostLake to:
- break the law, infringe others' rights, or post unlawful, hateful, harassing, or infringing content;
- send spam or bulk unsolicited content, or otherwise violate a network's platform rules;
- distribute malware, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or probe, scan, or test the security of the service without our written permission;
- reverse-engineer, resell, or abuse the service, or circumvent usage limits, credits, or rate limits;
- impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation.
Our full Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these terms. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach it.
5. Credits & billing
PostLake uses a credit model. Paid plans include a monthly allotment of credits, and you can buy one-off credit packs on top.
- Monthly credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over.
- Top-up pack credits never expire and are used only after your monthly credits run out.
- Posting to most networks costs 1 credit per network; posting to X costs more (and more again for posts containing a link), as shown in the app and on our pricing page.
Payments are processed by our providers, RevenueCat and Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout and may be exclusive of taxes, which are added where required. We may change prices with reasonable notice; changes won't affect the period you've already paid for.
6. Refunds & cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, then moves to the free tier. Subscription fees already paid and credits already granted are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.
7. Third-party platforms
PostLake works with third-party networks (X, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Bluesky, and others). Those platforms are controlled by their owners and can change, limit, or withdraw their APIs at any time. We're not responsible for a platform's actions, downtime, content decisions, or fees they charge (for example, X's paid posting). Your use of each network is also subject to that network's own terms.
8. Intellectual property
PostLake, its software, branding, and documentation belong to CrumbleLake. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service under these terms. You may not copy, resell, or create derivative products from it without our permission.
9. Availability
We work hard to keep PostLake reliable, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available". Except where a specific service level is agreed in writing, we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may perform maintenance or make changes.
10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, data, or goodwill, or for losses caused by third-party platforms. Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in that period.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud), and if you're a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
11. Indemnity
You agree to cover reasonable losses we suffer arising from your misuse of the service, your content, or your breach of these terms.
12. Termination
You can stop using PostLake and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, fail to pay, or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or to the service. On termination, your right to use PostLake ends; we'll handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you're a consumer, you may also have the benefit of mandatory rules in your country of residence.
14. Changes & contact
We may update these terms; we'll change the date above and, for material changes, give reasonable notice. Continued use means you accept the updated terms. Questions? Email crumblelake@gmail.com. PostLake is a CrumbleLake product, United Kingdom.
