PostLake keeps cookies to a minimum. We use only what's needed to sign you in and remember your display preference. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We use cookie-free Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate page performance.

Why we don't show a cookie banner
Under UK PECR rules, strictly-necessary cookies don't require consent, and we use only those plus a single functional preference cookie you trigger yourself by choosing a theme. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies, local storage, fingerprinting, or cross-site tracking. Because we run no advertising or tracking cookies, there is nothing that requires a consent pop-up.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the pl_session cookie will prevent you from staying signed in. Blocking pl_theme just means the site won't remember your theme between visits.
Third parties
Some pages load services from providers such as Cloudflare, our font providers, and Stripe Checkout. These are used only to deliver the service. They do not set advertising cookies through us. See our Sub-processors page for who we work with.
