### Do I need my own platform API keys?

No. PostLake manages the platform connections for you on every plan, X included — there's no developer-app setup or per-platform review to run yourself.

### How am I charged?

Usage-based credits: 1 credit per post per platform; X costs 5 (55 with a link). You're only charged for targets that actually publish — failed sends are free.

### What can the free plan post to?

Every network except X and TikTok, which need a paid plan or a purchased credit pack. The free tier gives 20 credits a month with no card.

### What does one normalised response mean?

Every post returns the same shape — one id plus a per-target result — so your code never branches per platform.

### Can an agent use PostLake safely?

Yes. Idempotency keys make retries safe (no double-posting), and agents connect over OAuth via MCP without ever seeing an API key.
